We are hosting all pubic liturgies and Sacraments (Mass, weddings, funerals, baptisms, etc.) in churches / indoor facilities with 100% of our building capacity in attendance. The general dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation Masses will end the weekend of Saturday / Sunday, August 14 / 15, 2021. Those who are sick or vulnerable due to age or health conditions are strongly encouraged to remain at home and view the Mass on television or online. Saint Luke´s website offers links for both English and Spanish Masses on Sundays (www.sanlukes.org). Weekend Masses schedule can be found here.
“The Church” is not enforcing masks and social distancing. Some parishioners may still wish to personally continue those practices, but the Church is not enforcing them. Facial coverings should not be worn by children under two years of age or by anyone with breathing difficulties. All tape / pew barriers have been removed, and all practices such as taking temperatures, contact tracing, etc., have ceased.
There are no restrictions on missalettes, hymnals or bulletins.
There is no offertory procession or Sign of Peace so as to avoid close contact with numerous people.
Vaccination is highly recommended.
